Queen Tee's Premium Whole Elderberries are dried whole elderberries (Sambucus spp.) with a naturally tart, fruity, and slightly earthy character. Elderberries have a long history of traditional culinary and herbal use and can be prepared for teas, syrups, infusions, and botanical blends. Elderberries naturally contain deeply colored anthocyanin pigments and other plant compounds.

PREPARATION FOR TEA
Use approximately 1 tablespoon of dried whole elderberries per 8 to 10 oz of water.
Combine elderberries and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for at least 15-20 minutes.
Strain thoroughly before drinking. Do not consume the spent berries.
Enjoy warm, or cool before serving. Ginger or cinnamon may be added for flavor.
FLAVOR & AROMA
Naturally tart and berry-forward with mild earthy undertones. When simmered, elderberries produce a deep-colored infusion that pairs well with warming spices such as ginger and cinnamon.
STORAGE
Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Use clean, dry utensils and reseal the package promptly after opening.
