PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Assam tea is a robust black tea traditionally produced from Camellia sinensis grown in the Assam region of northeastern India. The leaves are fully oxidized during processing, creating a deep amber-red liquor with a bold, malty character. Assam is widely enjoyed on its own and is also commonly used as a strong base for breakfast teas, milk tea and chai-style preparations. It naturally contains caffeine and tea polyphenols.
